Our students study a curriculum which is broad and balanced. A main focus is mastery in the core areas of English, Maths and Science, in which students will spend over half of lesson time.

This curriculum allows a balance between academic, creative and practical subjects and ensures that students develop a range of knowledge and skills.
Students will also participate in two Guided Reading sessions each week. Students are grouped by reading age and read, discuss and review literature which will challenge and inspire them. These sessions are led by a member of staff but the onus is very much on the students to develop their oracy through public reading and debate/discussion.
In the Enrichment Programme, students join clubs and societies to broaden their horizons and extend their skills and areas of interest. From Debating, Chess, Origami, Badminton, Film Club, Biological Drawing, Music Appreciation and many more, students can choose from a wide and exciting range of Enrichment activities.
