About the role
The role involves supporting students with special educational needs, including those with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The successful candidates will be committed to the safeguarding of all students. They will be well organised, willing to go the ‘extra mile’ and will be focused on the attainment of all students. They will support the corporate responsibility for the well-being and discipline of all students in the academy.
The successful applicant will be passionate about raising aspirations and helping children reach their full potential. They will be enthusiastic, innovative and a flexible team player, having the ability to build effective relationships with students and families. The Learning Mentor will provide support for students across the academy. They will take the responsibility for mentoring students as designated by the Head of SEN Inclusion and Pastoral Team, including students who are not on the SEND Register
